Projects – Speaking – Interviews – Writing

What I’m doing now

Writing

As an author on Search Engine Land, I write on the topic of SEO Product Management. In 2024, I initially planned on contributing 4 new articles. But that quickly went out the window after a very busy start to the year. I managed to publish one in March: Agile for SEOs: How in-house teams get projects prioritized. It’s a really thorough article. I list the ceremonies and meeting cadences outside teams are largely unaware of, but once you know them and integrate with the teams working in this way, you actually have a shot at getting cross functional work done.

I also published my commentary in September on the Google document’s “leak”, Was Google’s document ‘leak’ a strategic move? An SEO theory.

And oh I wrote up a small commentary piece on LinkedIn after listening to the SMX Advanced keynote with Elizabeth Tucker, Director, Product Management, Search at Google and it got mentioned by John Muller 😎

John Mu mentioned me!

Spoke on the topic of E-comm best practices at the Indian Legal Program of ASU

In early February, I attended the Tenth Annual Tribal Government E-Commerce CLE Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. It’s hosted by the Indian Legal Program (at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University). This year’s theme was “Wiring The Rez; Innovative Strategies for Businesses and E-Comm Best Practices” where I was a panelist and SME on E-commerce best practices.

SMX Program Committee Advisor

I was invited to participate in the 2023 SMX Program Committee developing cutting edge topics for the SMX Advanced and SMX Next industry events and will likely participate again this year.

Heading to Under Armour HQ!

It’s official, I’ll be heading to Baltimore, Maryland in August to Under Armour’s headquarters for a week. I’m excited to see part of the new campus and many of my remote colleagues IRL. Just in time, b/c we moved into our new HQ in November.

Connecting: Attending my third Mastermind event in Park City, Utah
